Just off of U.S.Highway 77 in Brownsville, Texas on the banks of the
Rio Grande, and on the former site of the historic Fort Brown military
installation, there lies a subtropical golf experience that even the most
discriminating golfer will enjoy. Fort Brown Memorial Golf Course
opened its doors to the pubic in 1956 as Riverview Golf Course and
was owned by the City of Brownsville. In 1999, course ownership was
transferred to the University of Texas at Brownsville and was privately
leased.

Since that time, this beautiful 18-hole golf course has undergone
significant renovation. Boasting a brand new pro shop, snack bar, club
room, internet access, a brand new line of EZ-Go golf carts and
champions ultra tiffdwarf Bermuda greens, the golf course continues
to attract a growing number of golf enthusiasts, both young and old,
from near and far. Generations of local golfers, grandparents, parents
and kids continue to enjoy the facility as well. There is something for
everyone.

Come on over and join our family - everyone is always welcome.
